Ask Denovo - Workflow Series Part III: Monitoring Workflows

In the most recent EnterpriseOne 9.2 updates from May and June, Oracle released a couple new features specifically around Workflow. Today’s posting discusses both.

May 2024 Release Feature: User Access and Application Usage Tracking

Understanding which users are using which applications is important to make sure your data is secure, to help you minimize the testing effort during software updates, and can help you avoid an unpleasant surprise in the event of a license audit. EnterpriseOne now provides tools to help you with this, such as the UX One User Access by Application Modules tool. This tool allows you to filter by application module for a specific date range, then drill down from the roles to map the applications in that module to the specific users in those roles. This information can even be exported and distributed to departments as part of a security audit process.

June 2024 Release Feature: Workflow Monitor Process View

The native EnterpriseOne workflow allows you to create process automations and approvals. The workflows and messages operate behind the scenes to keep your processes flowing smoothly. The new features in the EnterpriseOne Workflow Monitor allow you to track workflow statuses in a visual process diagram, ensuring that you have visibility and control to any bottlenecks in your workflow processes.
