This week, we're covering the major enhancements in System Administration as part of the Tools Highlights.
Server Manager
- Performance Workbench is now available to manage log files including summarizing log files from any platform.
- Developer Client is now able to retrieve logs in a new user group in Server Manager (instead of going through INI files).
JD Edwards Update Manager
- Using Configuration Assistant to create custom multi-platform packages with a combination of OMW projects, spec-based objects, UDO's, and data sets
- Web Planner ESU no longer requiring a Windows Deployment Server
- Merges can be rerun (in the use case of data refresh in the target environment)
Package Builds / Deployments
- Full package builds now have improved performance, processing only the identified delta object list.
- Package Build now includes the library description to make the library more distinguishable.
- Port Number now on package build PDFs.
- Package Deployments can be done via Orchestrations.
