Oracle has rolled out a series of enhancements to its Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud services for March 2025, aimed at improving user experience, optimizing processes, and bolstering security.
Here’s a closer look at the key updates:
Migration to Oracle Cloud Console
By March 31, 2025, all security, user management, and cloud service management operations for EPM environments will transition exclusively to the Oracle Cloud Console. This modern interface offers intuitive management of instances, environments, users, and permissions, replacing the previous My Services Console.
Optimized System Maintenance in Task Manager
The System Maintenance job within Task Manager has been divided into two distinct sequences: System Maintenance and System Maintenance (Non-Blocking). This separation allows for more efficient system upkeep, minimizing disruptions during critical operations.
Enhanced Hierarchy Viewpoint Downloads in Enterprise Data Management
Users can now download hierarchy viewpoints to Excel with cell indentation that reflects the hierarchy levels. This enhancement improves data readability and facilitates better analysis.
Introduction of Node Link Extracts
Enterprise Data Management now supports node link extracts, enabling nodes with links to other nodes from registered or unregistered data sources to be output for use by external applications and processes. This feature enhances data integration capabilities across platforms.
Shared Variable Lists in Narrative Reporting
Narrative Reporting introduces Shared Variable Lists, serving as centralized storage for commonly used static variables across multiple report packages. This feature ensures consistency and simplifies the management of recurring data points.
These updates underscore Oracle's commitment to continuous improvement, offering users more efficient tools and processes within the EPM Cloud suite. Stay tuned for more exciting developments!
