On to today's entry -
JD Edwards Release 23 is right around the corner!
Many JD Edwards users are likely aware of the coming Release 23, but not everyone knows exactly what the new version will include. Thankfully, Oracle has released a series of short video "Future Release Quick Tours" of what's to come, including 11 brand-new additions!
A few of the highlights include:- Logic Extensions
These are Low-Code / No-Code customizations to your JDE instance, created in Orchestrator and published/shared via the UDO Workbench. These Logic Extensions will also be available to be used as part of a Form Extension. There is no need to know the JDE developer toolset for certain customizations any longer! - Next Generation Workflow Studio
The Orchestrator is the new home of Workflow creation and maintenance. If you have existing Workflows, the video does mention this is "backward-compatible" so you won't lose the ones you have already. - Open Positions on Organizational Chart
The new Org Chart from Release 23 has been improved to include the ability to view open positions (via the HR Requisitions) in your organization.
We at Denovo want you to get the most out of your Oracle investment, and we hope this series will help with that.
