September 2024 will mark the two year anniversary of "Ask Denovo" where we have been providing a weekly post about JDEdwards EnterpriseOne new features, existing features, special multi-week Series deep-dives into a single function, Tips & Tricks, and reasons to get upgraded.
It’s also the birthday of EnterpriseOne – 24 years! In looking back at "Ask Denovo"s over 100 postings, we thought this would be a perfect time to gather some other interesting number stats for this week’s post.
1977 – Year JDEdwards was first released into the world. It was called JDEdwards World.
29 – Number of years JDEdwards has had a graphical interface (excluding JWalk for World). The first version was called OneWorld.
9/15/2000 – The Release Date of OneWorld Xe. This was affectionately referred to by many as “the first stable version” of OneWorld.
47 – Number of modules in LearnJDE.com across 12 major verticals. No other Tier 1 ERP can claim more natively integrated modules than JDEdwards EnterpriseOne.*
82 (11 + 32 + 39) – Major Software Updates/Releases in 24 years (11 Major Releases of OneWorld/EnterpriseOne from Xe to 9.1 + 32 Major Releases of EnterpriseOne 9.2 + 39 Tools Releases of OneWorld / EnterpriseOne).
7,500 – Estimated number of companies using JDE globally (although if you search the internet, you’ll get numbers ranging between 5,000 and over 18,000).*
22 – Number of years Denovo has been caring for and creating these JDE customers via implementations, upgrades, training, and support. There are very few Oracle Partners who can say they were around when JDEdwards was still owned by JDEdwards!
